🏆 CHSC’s Own Bobby Kaupas Named NJYS Comeback Player of the Year! ⚽

On Friday, 1/31/25, Bobby Kaupas of our 2011 Boys Travel Team, Chaos, was honored as the New Jersey Youth Soccer Comeback Player of the Year at the 2025 NJYS Awards Dinner, presented by RWJ Barnabas Health and sponsored by JAG Physical Therapy.

Bobby’s journey is nothing short of inspiring. After undergoing foot surgery in 2023 and sitting out an entire season, we feared his soccer career was over. But when Chaos needed a goalkeeper, a teammate reached out—and Bobby answered the call. With perseverance, hard work, and the unwavering support of his teammates and coaches, he made his return to the game he loves.

His story of resilience was recognized by Coach Dan Morse, who nominated him for this prestigious award. Bobby also shared his experience in an essay and a podcast interview on Greetings From The Garden State, airing soon.
