Dual Carding Policy
Cherry Hill Soccer Club attempts to align with USYS recommended standards for training of younger age group children. USYS recommends that young players practice no more than one to two times per week. Cherry Hill Soccer Club believes that the primary goals for younger age groups should be fostering a love of the sport, having fun, and developing friendships and the skill development pace should be age appropriate.
The following CHSC Guidelines are in place for Dual Carding:
Starting at birth year 2017 (older birth years are grandfathered into whatever arrangement they had previously.)
For U8-U10 Age Groups, Dual Carding under different player pass governing bodies for players to participate in multiple leagues at one time during the same playing season is not permitted. At the U11 age, dual carding for a team is allowed at the discretion of the Head Coach.
The CHSC Board reserves the authority to permit dual carding in extraordinary circumstances when the board determines that it is warranted.
Players must agree to the conditions above during the program registration process. Any players discovered to be in violation of this policy without CHSC Board approval, will have their CHSC player pass revoked and will be unable to participate in any CHSC team activity until the player forfeits their dual carding pass with their non-CHSC team. Any subsequent violation of this policy after reinstatement will result in expulsion from the club.
