Cherry Hill SC Partners with Futboltech to Elevate Player Development!

The Cherry Hill Soccer Club is thrilled to be expanding upon its collaboration with Futboltech! Starting next season (Fall 2025), girls and boys Futboltech Cherry Hill SC Premier teams (U8–U13) will be introduced alongside our existing teams, competing at the highest levels with elite coaching.  In order to establish uniformity and enhance player development throughout Premier, A, B, and C teams, Futboltech trainers will also oversee training for the younger age groups. This partnership enables Futboltech and Cherry Hill SC to collaborate and share resources for the benefit of both organizations. This includes access to fields, indoor training spaces, expert coaches, and player development opportunities for all players. Together, we are committed to shaping the future of young athletes. We are thrilled to embark on the next chapter of soccer in Cherry Hill!

• Why is Cherry Hill SC making this change? Cherry Hill SC supports players of all skill levels, from recreational participants to multi-sport athletes and competitive travel players. However, we have identified a gap in providing advanced training and higher-level play opportunities. Many players seeking this over the years have left the club for other programs. By introducing Futboltech Premier teams, we are positioned to offer elite training and competition at a competitive and accessible price point,
  keeping more players within our club.  
  
  
• Tryouts: Tryouts for Futboltech and Cherry Hill SC will be held separately, but Futboltech will assist in evaluation and conducting all tryouts.  Trying out and accepting a spot on a Futboltech team is not required, it is optional.
  
  
• Player Registration and Carding: will be through Cherry Hill SC, and payment plans will be offered.
  
  
• Uniforms: All Player uniforms will match for Premier and A, B, C teams with Premier teams also including the Futboltech logo.
  
  
• What about the older age groups? A plan to accommodate high school age teams will be forthcoming.
  
  
• What if my child plays EDP for another soccer club already? Assuming you are grandfathered in with your current status or are in compliance with our existing dual carding policy  there will be no change for your family. Please note, however, you would not be allowed to guest play for a Premier team.
  
  
• How will this benefit my child’s development? With Futboltech’s professional training across all levels, players will receive consistent, high-quality coaching and training, thereby improving technical and tactical skills to prepare them for high school and beyond.
  
  
• Will Futboltech host camps and clinics for all players? Yes, Futboltech hosted events will continue at Cherry Hill SC fields, with opportunities for all players to participate.  The past year of partnering with Futboltech to host camps was extremely successful from both a training and revenue sharing perspective for Cherry Hill SC.
  
  
• What’s the difference between a Premier team and a travel team? Premier teams will have Futboltech branding, professional coaching for all games and training, and compete in higher-level leagues like top flight EDP and Acela. Travel teams will continue to compete in South Jersey / EDP leagues and receive the same Futboltech-led training as well as their parent coach led sessions.

• Will my child have to try out for a Premier team?
  Yes, tryouts for Premier teams will be held earlier and separately from the traditional A, B, and C team tryouts.
  
  
• Can players play games with both Premier and travel teams during the season?
  Yes, since all players will be carded under the Cherry Hill SC umbrella, player movement between teams is possible on a case by case basis.
  
  
• Does anything change with practice or game locations? For the most part, nothing will change with respect to practices and/or games. We will, however, have access to additional fields and training spaces via Futboltech and your child may have occasion to play games, attend camps, or train at these other spaces.
• How will the coaching be handled?  Futboltech staff will be directly coaching and training the premier teams with no parent involvement (other than Team Manager support). On one night per week in the Fall and Spring the A, B, C teams will have a Futboltech trainer run their sessions.  Parents will coach the A, B, C teams.
   
  How will player movement / sharing work between the Premier teams and the Travel teams?  Once selected for a Premier team, players commit to the Fall, Winter, Spring seasons.  Players would not be moved up or down except in extreme circumstances and where mutually agreed upon by the CHSC Board / Futboltech Leadership / Player / Parents.  Conversely the same goes for A, B, C Travel teams.  There are a couple of notable exceptions; Since Premier and Travel teams are all under the Cherry Hill SC Club for carding, players CAN be shared as guest players when there is need (not enough players for league games, guest playing for tournaments, etc...).  This sharing can occur both ways (Premier -> Travel and Travel -> Premier).  Additionally, Futboltech may identify talented Travel players and offer them to be a "Practice Player" for Futboltech.  In this scenario, they would not play games with the Premier team, but would be invited to attend training sessions.
   
  Price for Premier Team Registration?  Depending on the age level the price varies from $2,000 to $3,000 annual.  This includes three tournaments and three nights a week training for Fall / Winter / Spring.  Uniform expense is not included.
